Cancellation Policy

Direct reservations (via WhatsApp or email)

For reservations booked directly with Casa Pitic:

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: 100% refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellation between 15 and 30 days before arrival: 50% refund of the deposit.
  • Cancellation less than 15 days before arrival: No refund. The deposit and first night are non-refundable.
  • Long stays (30+ nights) and corporate reservations: For extended assignments we offer flexible terms. Contact us for a custom agreement.

Reservations through Airbnb or Booking.com

Reservations made through platforms follow the cancellation policy of the corresponding platform. We generally operate under "Moderate" policy on Airbnb and "Non-refundable with discount" on Booking.com.

Date modifications

Date modifications within the same season are flexible, subject to availability. Contact us via WhatsApp to reschedule.

Force majeure cancellations

In the event of force majeure (prolonged airport closures, declared health emergencies, natural disasters preventing travel), we evaluate case by case to offer alternatives (credit for a future stay or partial refund).

Security deposit

For direct reservations we require a deposit equivalent to 30% of the total stay to confirm dates. The deposit is applied to the final balance.

Damage charges

Casa Pitic reserves the right to retain part of the deposit in case of damage to the property beyond normal wear and tear, documented with photographs. Charges will be itemized in writing.

No-show policy

If you fail to arrive on the check-in date without prior notice, the entire reservation is considered consumed with no right to refund.
